Warranty & Exchange Policy

EXCHANGE POLICY​

  • The EYEXPRESS optical shops has a 7-day exchange policy.
  • Items need to be in their original packing & condition along with the original invoice for exchange.
  • Please note that ophthalmic lens and contact lenses as medical products can’t be refunded or exchanged after purchase.
  • Exchange is subject to an inspection of the product after which a confirmation will be given within 7 working days.
  • Once the exchange is approved, customers can select a product for the same value, or a credit note of the equivalent value to use within 6 months of the issue.
  • The refund is only by a credit note.

SPECIAL ORDER & ADVANCE BOOKING

  • All Sunglasses or Ophthalmic Lens or Contact Lens orders will only be processed on a 50% payment by the intending customer.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to collect the items within 30 days of being officially notified that their product is ready.
  • EYEXPRESS  will not be responsible for the product if it does not get collected within 30 days of the agreed collection date.
  • Advance payments made for a special order of lenses cannot be refunded due to the non-collection of products

WARRANTY & REPAIR POLICY

  • Eyewear purchased from us are genuine brands and are covered by one year warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Manufacturing defect claims need to be confirmed at our service center or by the supplier before getting approved for the repair/exchange.​
  • Scratches on the ophthalmic/sunglasses lenses, breakage of the lens, damage due to mishandling, signs of wear & tear, or discoloration with use are not considered as manufacturing defects. Any such defects need to be notified within 24 hours of the purchase. If not, it would be considered as damage to goods under customer ownership​
  •  Anti-reflection coating on Ophthalmic lenses has a 1-year warranty. Any claims need to be submitted for evaluation to the lab for approval.​
  • Replacement of spare parts will be chargeable in cases other than manufacturing defects. The availability, cost, and the lead time for the supply of spare parts are subject to supplier discretion and policy. (Minimum lead time 4-8 weeks)​
  • Sunglasses and frames found to be defective will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer’s discretion based on spare part availability.
  • Fixing lenses on customer own used Frames/ sunglasses are strictly at the owner’s risk, there are chances for breakage or damage in the workshop while handling such items.
  • Repairing or adjusting customer eyewear shall be at owners’ risk
  • Following an external Prescription is under the customer’s risk. EYEXPRESS will not take responsibility for errors in external company prescriptions.
  • Manufacturing defect claims need to be confirmed at our service by the supplier before getting approved for the repair / exchange.

EXCHANGE OF SALE, CLEARANCE, PROMOTIONS ITEMS

  • Items on clearance, promotion, or offers cannot be refunded, they can only be exchanged as per the exchange policy.
